 The new version of Urdutoday was launched on 22 December 2010. It was a great annovation in the history of Urdu Website. There is still not a single urdu site which allows it's users to upload/publish or post their content by their own. Some of you might name some sites which allows user to post their content in urdu on their website but these sites basically are the forum sites where you can only post discussion topics and then discuss them. Urdutoday is a complete package of uploading content in Urdu. You can post written content in Urdu, Images and Pictures of Urdu content along with the videos of your content. Some of my friends will say that 'Face Book' is such a site, but remember Facebook basically is not an Urdu website. Only Urdutoday is the website which gives permissions to its user to upload their content without any restriction in any format along with some extra feature which will you find after visiting this website.

Another question is asked to us why the Menus, Navigations and Help is in English if this is an Urdu website. The answer of this question is we started this website in 2006 with a motive of progress and promotion of Urdu Language on the internet. The most popular language on Internet is English, we decided to make our Menus, Navigations and Help in English for our new version so that a user who can not read or understand Urdu also visit our website and try to read and learn Urdu through our website. Our main content like poetry, literature, humor, articles and stories are only in Urdu. Only in our forums a user can post English as well as Urdu.
